Genesis 3 to provide education

Dallas, TX — Pool, spa and backyard professionals who want to increase their knowledge of watershape design and construction should plan to attend the 2010 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo in Las Vegas, where the Genesis 3 Design Group will present a selection of educational seminars and special events.

The show will take place Nov. 3-5 in the Bayside Halls at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Covering the dynamic and diverse nature of the pool, spa and watershape design and construction industry, the Genesis 3 Design Group will present nine seminars as part of the Expo's core educational program.

On Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 8-9:30 a.m., classes include "Shotcrete Applications - Guides and Techniques as Stipulated by the American Concrete Institute and Genesis 3," "The Beauty of Glass Tile" and "Waterproofing Applications, and Pool Project Sales and Design, The Interview."

Held from 8-9:15 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, seminars include, "Color Theory in Finish Materials," and "The Art in Closing More Deals - Rethinking the Sales Process."

Also on Thursday, Nov. 4, "Renovation and Remodeling of Existing Pools and Spas - Part A: Options and Design" will take place from 8-11 a.m.

On the final day of the show, Friday, Nov. 5, "Startups: The $64,000 Answer," will be held from 8-9:15 a.m., while "Renovation and Remodeling of Existing Pools & Spas - Part B: Engineering and Construction," and "The Beauty of the Edge: Vanishing Edges, Perimeter Overflows and Wet Deck Projects," take place from 8-11 a.m.

As part of the Genesis 3 Lifestyle Program, a wine tasting will take place on Thursday, Nov. 4, from 3:30-5 p.m. in booth #414. Attendees will be able to enjoy one-on-one discussions and a glass of wine in a relaxed environment with Stephan Asseo, the French winemaker from L'Aventure in Paso Robles, Calif.

Vino enthusiasts will want to get acquainted with Genesis 3 faculty and members at the annual Genesis 3 Family Reunion & Winemaker Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 4. Taking place at the RM Seafood restaurant in the Mandalay Bay Hotel, the event be held from 7-10 p.m., featuring L'Aventure's full-flavored, award-winning wines and a delectable, state-of-the-art dinner by Chef Rick Moonen.
