Biltmore expanded its home furnishings program at the October High Point Market with new wood accents, rugs and casual furniture from manufacturing partners Encore, Capel Rugs and Whitecraft.

Pieces such as the Blue Ridge chair and ottoman and the South Terrace wicker chair offer a fresh interpretation of the transitional look that is currently a favorite among casual furniture consumers.

Building on a successful introduction from the 2009 fall market, Encore expanded its Gentleman's Pursuit collection with several wood accent pieces featuring details inspired by George Vanderbilt's unique sense of style. Among the best sellers this market were the Grand Hall Mirror and Louis XIV Cocktail Table.

Capel Rugs' new Arrondelle rug collection, inspired by architectural details found at Biltmore, was one of the company's best sellers throughout the market week, in both the Medallion and Baroque patterns.

"We were thrilled to find such a great reception to our new products," said Tim Rosebrock, vice president and general manager of Biltmore's licensing division. "We're very pleased with all of the hard work our partners with new products put into promoting the Biltmore brand."

Launched in 1990, Biltmore's licensing division has grown to be a highly recognized brand, drawing on the historical treasures and inspiration found in Biltmore House and gardens. Through Biltmore For Your Home and Biltmore Chateau Reserve, consumers are able to experience both the classic designs found in George Vanderbilt's grand collection of art and furnishings, and the relaxed enjoyment of fine country living.
