Originally conceived in 1988 by Sassone Franco and inspired in the reuse of a broken surfboard that washed ashore, the Aquasellas group from Kirch Industries embraces a retrospective style of design. The shape of its side legs abstractly represent raging waves frozen in time while the armrests symbolize the white gushing crest of waves stopped in motion.
