CINCINNATI — Ficks Reed, a producer of rattan and wicker furniture, outdoor woven and contract furnishings, appears to be closed, according to a report in The Cincinnati Enquirer.
The 125-year-old company's 52,000-square-foot office and distribution center here are closed, the story said.
Efforts to reach company officials were unsuccessful this morning. Ficks Reed was acquired out of bankruptcy in 1996 by a group that included owner Eugene L. Saenger Jr., the story said.
Ficks Reed continued to post updates on its Facebook wall until Jan. 12. The company has exhibited in the Market Square building in High Point.
