Rocky River Rondack introduces adirondack chair

HUDSON, Ohio — The Rocky River Rondack Company, headquartered in Hudson, Ohio, has introduced its adirondack chair to the casual marketplace.

"I've always loved adirondack chairs," said Mike McKenna, co-founder of The Rocky River Rondack Company. "But I didn't like the annual maintenance of sanding, staining or sealing them. Storing the chairs was a back-breaking endeavor and it took up too much space."

The Rocky River Rondack Company has addressed these problems by creating an adirondack chair designed for durability, weatherability and comfort. The company's Rondack adirondack chair is constructed from an engineered polymer designed to emulate the look of natural wood while remaining entirely recyclable.

"Our product is about being around a campfire, sitting on the porch or dock at the lake, enjoying the mountain's fall colors, falling asleep in the sun and being with family. We have designed every aspect of our product to promote real relaxation," said McKenna.

The chairs, built in the United States and assembled by Amish craftsman, require almost no maintenance and never require sanding, painting or sealing. In addition, the chairs are reclinable and foldable, making them easier to transport and store.

"Our chairs can be left outside all year," McKenna said. "The color will never fade and the surface is resistant to any type of organic growth. The only work you'll have is to wipe them down."

The Rocky River Rondack Company offers both an adult and child-sized Rondack chair, an ottoman and a table, all in either a white or toffee-colored finish. Adult-sized chairs, tables and ottomans do not require any assembly. All of The Rocky River Rondack Company's products are free from PVC materials and potentially decomposable wood flour, fiber, chips or dust.
