Sunbrella expands Mayfield Awning collection

14 new styles available through Tri Vantage

GLEN RAVEN, N.C. — Tri Vantage has expanded its Mayfield Awning collection with 14 new stripes carefully engineered to coordinate with upholstery fabrics from its expansive Sunbrella High Point collection.

SunbrellaNow comprised of 30 SKUs, the collection offers awning fabrics in appealing earth tones with a variety of striped styles ideal for both fixed and retractable awning structures.

"Home furnishing design trends are a big influence when it comes to developing awning patterns," said Gina Wicker, design and creative director for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, makers of Sunbrella fabrics. "Thanks to the common color palette shared with our furniture fabrics, the new fabrics will enable our customers to provide homeowners with a cohesive look for their outdoor spaces."

The Mayfield collection is offered exclusively through Tri Vantage, a division of Glen Raven, Inc. and the nation's largest distributor of fabrics, hardware, accessories and cordage for the awning, marine and furniture industries.

Moreland

Leading the Mayfield collection is the stripe Moreland. Based on the popular solid awning fabric, Silica, Moreland is a textured stripe in alternating colors with a triple-pinstripe detail. Moreland is available in four color combinations - Clay, a nutmeg hue; Taupe, a popular neutral; Chestnut, a rich brown; and Nugget, a warm gold.

Cavalier

Cavalier is a classic mirror stripe of varying widths offset with white pinstripes and available in three color combinations. Cavalier Sedona sets wide gold and beige stripes against small stripes of true brown, natural and Tuscan orange. Cavalier Raven features silver and slate stripes highlighted with smaller stripes in grey, rust and white. Cavalier Colonial has wide stripes of navy and linen with accents of taupe, natural and red.

Granville

The Granville offering is a wide-mirrored stripe with a textured tweed foundation. Granville Paprika features stripes of gold and alternating stripes in terracotta accented with dark brown and white. Granville Mahogany has an earthy feel with main stripes of gold accented with brick red, dark brown and tan. Granville Patina brings metal influences with a main stripe of gingko green accented with copper, taupe, white and gray. Rounding out the Granville offering is Granville Tinsel, a combination of bold yellow stripes with alternating pinstripes of grays, silver and white.

Crestview

Crestview is a wide-set stripe with alternating bands of pinstripes and is available in three colorways. Crestview Oak features a background of dark brown with groups of pinstripes in light brown and terracotta. A beige background accented with groups of cocoa and slate pinstripes comprises Crestview Mushroom. Crestview Seaglass has a soothing spa background with alternating pinstripes in cocoa and navy blue.

The Mayfield Awning collection fabrics are integrated into the Sunbrella Awning Fabric Stock Book for 2011/2012, making it easier for consumers to view all fabrics that might suit their color preferences.
