D1 Spas to show Elemental line at High Point Market

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 3/21/2011 12:13:34 PM

Dimension One Spas will show its Elemental line of spas at the upcoming High Point Market, April 2-7, at 210 East Commerce Dr. on the third floor of the Pavilion.

Inspired by the four elements of fire, water, air and earth, this new home spa is heating-efficient with a compact size and artisan shape that allow for integration into patio and backyard designs.

"We created Elemental to enrich the outdoor living experience," said Founder Bob Hallam. "As an inviting, warm-water gathering spot, this new kind of home spa will underscore the point that no backyard is complete without the element of water."

Vic Walker, product design manager at D1 Spas, points to this year's American Institute of Architects Trend Survey, which reported that 94% of landscape architects surveyed said that outdoor living spaces are growing in popularity.

"Humans are instinctually drawn to nature," Walker said. "Designing a home spa that truly reflects the natural elements and meets the needs of outdoor living lifestyles felt right to us. Because it blends so well with the outdoors, we often describe Elemental as liquid furniture."

Exteriors of the Elemental are textured with water-based, eco-friendly material and available in Snow, Moss, Onyx, Canvas and Canyon colorways, allowing consumers to use their own designs ideas to fit their outdoor look and style. Each spa features an integrated, easy-to-use cover, aluminum bases and accent pieces, and a choice of architectural panel inserts. Utilizing high-efficiency LED exterior lights, the Elemental creates a landscape lighting feature that enhances an outdoor space. With a width height of 32 inches and a dry weight of 350 pounds, Elemental can be used on condo/apartment patios and balconies as well as expansive outdoor rooms.
