Zuo Modern visual merchandising director opens store

Vignette Living opening in Mexico

Zuo Modern Visual Merchandising Director John Perez will open a furniture and accessories store this month in the border town of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. vl

Vignette Living will focus on contemporary furniture, lighting and accents, including outdoor furnishings. The 10,000-square-foot store will offer cooking classes, design services and al fresco entertaining ideas. Store director Carmen Gloria Santos will handle day-to-day operations, allowing Perez to continue in his position with Zuo. The grand opening will be held on Nov. 11.

Born in Piedras Negras and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas, Perez first started out in the family's clothing retail business in Eagle Pass. He has spent 25 years in the furniture industry, working in retail stores and as a merchandising designer. He has worked as Zuo’s visual merchandising director since 2013.
