Schiffer introduces Scott Cohen's Poolscapes

Each chapter highlights a project from Scott Cohen's portfolio, featuring yards of every size that have been transformed into various poolscapes. The guide illustrates tips and techniques for designing a pool landscape and also covers ideas for hot tubs, fountains and other water features.

A nationally acclaimed garden artisan whose work has been featured on Home and Garden Television and in numerous books and magazines, Cohen is known for his use of recycled materials, expert detailing and innovative ceramic techniques to create outdoor environments. Cohen is president and garden artisan of The Green Scene, a premier outdoor design and construction firm based in Northridge, Calif. He provides consultation for clients nationwide and gives seminars on designing outdoor kitchens and rooms, cast concrete techniques, outdoor fire features and other topics for landscape professionals.

The book was written in conjunction with Elizabeth Lexau, a writer who covers landscaping, garden design, and other outdoor topics. She lives with her husband and two daughters near the shores of Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin.
