TUUCI to exhibit at Milan Furniture Fair

April show marks TUUCI's first appearance to Milan audience

TUUCI has been selected to exhibit at the exclusive Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2011 (Milan Furniture Fair) among a group of leading indoor and outdoor furniture manufacturers. The exhibition will be held April 12-17 at the Milan Fairgrounds, Rho in Milan, Italy.

"Being the first and only pure umbrella manufacturer showing at Salone signifies that TUUCI is being recognized for exceptional contributions to the outdoor industry," said Rob Planken, director of operations EMEA for TUUCI. "This show is visited by the very best architects and designers the world over, and to be included is an extreme honor for our brand."

TUUCI will be located in Hall 6 at Stand E35. The 32x32 booth is being designed specifically for this inaugural appearance and will feature 16-1/2-foot high walls and an elevated white glossy floor to create the ultimate shade experience. Structures like TUUCI's M1-Stingray, Ocean Master MAX Cantilever, Ocean Master signature pieces, Exuma Cabana and Mercury Lounge will be on display. The shades will be fabricated in white and slate and will be accented with bright, bold pops of color.

"Walking the show in Milan is like walking 5th Avenue in New York, so our space will focus on exclusive pieces to show the range and intricacy of our products," Planken said. "The Salone audience is a mix of high-end contract and residential influencers who deserve our five-star shade experience."

In addition to the trade show exhibition, TUUCI products will be featured outside of INTERNI on Via Turati in Milan's city center. This area will be open to the public from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. during Salone. TUUCI will host a cocktail party featuring local music on April 14 beginning at 6 p.m. at INTERNI (Via Turati 8, 20121 Milano, MM3 Turati - internionline.it). Show attendees are invited to attend the event.

This year marks the 50th annual Salone Internazionale del Mobile (cosmit.it). With attendees from all over the world, Salone Internazionale del Mobile features exhibitors in an array of styles within the indoor and outdoor furniture and accessories industries.
