THE MALAYSIAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR WAS HELD MARCH 1-5 at the Putra World Trade Center and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur. It featured some 500 exhibitors of indoor residential, commercial home office and outdoor furniture. Manufacturers from countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, India and Japan were represented at the show. The event drew buyers from Europe, the Middle East, Australia as well as North and South America. Pictured are examples of some of the outdoor products featured at the event.

This woven outdoor furniture line is made by Rinaat Cane, of Perak, Malaysia. It includes a three-piece seating unit as well as companion cocktail tables with removable seating and storage baskets.
	R.N.E. Consortium, of Perak, Malaysia showed the Noveau line of modular outdoor seating units. The pieces can be assembled in multiple configurations.
ExcelFurn, of Selangor, Malaysia showed this line of outdoor furniture made with balau hardwoods. The products shown here include a patio picnic table, a storage bench and a round table and chairs.
	Outdoor manufacturer Nicaria showed this line of outdoor seating made with woven and bent rattan and bamboo frames. The company is based in Sabah, Malaysia.
