NEW YORK, N.Y. — Henry Hall Designs will debut international artist Karim Rashid's first venture into residential outdoor furniture at this month's International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York.

Adding Rashid's Talenti Collection to Henry Hall Designs' portfolio provides a breath of fresh air, Victoria Hall said, describing the work by Interior Design Magazine's 2011 Hall of Fame inductee.

Infused with Rashid's signature sensual minimalism, Talenti provides a refreshing and whimsical change to the outdoor market. The pieces are constructed of steel rods covered in a metal mesh - then covered with eight coats of ceramic paint. The collection is available in white, light yellow, light pink, light turqoise, light green and bronze.

"Karim is a designer in the true sense of the word," said owner Henry Hall, who finds Rashid's work incredibly inspiring and innovative on many levels. "He is willing to take risks for the integrity and purity of his designs."

Rashid has worked with an impressive array of clients over the years including Alessi, Umbra, Prada and Issey Miyake. His numerous awards include being a perennial winner of the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award, Interior Design Magazine's Annual Design Review and international Red Dot Awards.

His work is in the permanent collections of 15 museums worldwide including MoMA and SFMoMA.
