Ryan Hughes Design Build receives 2016 Pinnacle Award

Design firm won for best in pool, outdoor living design

Ryan Hughes Design BuildTAMPA, Fla. - Ryan Hughes Design Build has been recognized as the recipient of the 2016 Pinnacle Award for Best in Pool and Outdoor Living Design. The award-winning project, which was singled out in the Innovative Design category, was a near 5,000-sq.-ft. outdoor space designed and constructed by the Hughes team for a Tampa homeowner.

The project included a complex outdoor design that incorporated architectural elements with innovative lounging and dining, fire and water features, custom textures and state-of-the-art audio/visual.

“We are proud to receive this Pinnacle Award, as it recognizes the creativity and hard work of our entire team,” said Ryan Hughes, president/creative director, Ryan Hughes Design Build. “Within this project there were numerous signature elements that set all our designs apart and allowed us to not only create exactly the space envisioned by our clients, but also define the best of outdoor living.”

The winning project by the Palm Harbor, Florida-based company was featured in the fall/winter print and digital issues of Luxury Pools & Outdoor Living magazine, the sponsor of the awards.

“This year’s entries were as strong as we’ve ever seen, with stunning projects from more than 100 builders and designers,” said Melissa Gillespie, editor, Luxury Pools & Outdoor Living. “In the eyes of our esteemed judges, the Ryan Hughes project was among the best of the best. There were only nine winners anointed in the entire competition. Each represents what’s best about pool and outdoor living design today; big ideas, meticulously thought out details, and cutting edge designs.”
