EL MONTE, Calif. — Brown Jordan received two awards in the IIDA/HD Product Design Competition, held at last week's Hospitality Design Expo in Las Vegas.
"This award is a testament to Brown Jordan's innovative design and vision. We're very honored by this distinction," said Stephen Elton, vice president of sales and marketing.
Both of the award-winning pieces are part of Brown Jordan's co-branded collection with renowned designer Richard Frinier. Winning the Group Seating category was Still, which features powder-coated, cast-and-extruded aluminum frames to create a soft-modern form. Winning the Lounge Seating category was Cloud Nine, a unique design that showcased curvaceous and continuous organic lines.
Hosted by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and Hospitality Design Magazine, the annual Product Design Competition honors innovation, function and aesthetic advancements in the hospitality industry. The competition is part of the HD Expo, the hospitality industry's premier design-networking event.
