FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – During the January 2017 International Gift and Home Furnishings Market, held in Atlanta, Castelle was recognized with the Best of Floor Award for Outstanding Visual Presentation following judging of showrooms on the 10th floor in The Gardens.
“We are proud to have been acknowledged with this award during the Atlanta market,” said Steve Lowsky, CEO, Castelle. “We have invested considerable time and effort into the presentation of this and all our permanent showrooms. With this award, the work of our entire team is recognized for extending our message of handcrafted luxury to all buyers and designers visiting our showroom.”

Sponsored by AmericasMart, the Best of Floor awards include hundreds of participating showrooms, temporary exhibits and showcase window displays throughout the market. On the 10th Floor, Castelle achieved the top prize from among the sixty-nine showrooms judged.
“The Castelle showroom in Atlanta is simply spectacular,” said Jill Ford, vice president of leasing for The Gardens.

Some of the judges spoke about the illusion of rooms—complete with lighting, decorative items, accessories and rugs— which encourages buyers to visualize the pieces in multiple scenarios, while wood floors and shiplap walls remind them of the line’s outdoor functionality.
The Best of Floor Awards have been given out for more than 25 years within the Atlanta Market Center. Judges for the competition are intentionally kept confidential throughout the process. Following the judging, a winning Best of Floor show space is designated from the participating entities on individual floors. Criteria for the award involve a determination of outstanding visual presentation of products within the showroom or display.
