Thomas A. Tarantin, president of Tarantin Tank & Equipment Company, has announced the appointment of Kirk Cleveland to the position of vice president sales and marketing.

Cleveland brings a proven track record of moving product to market and a wealth of experience with major consumer brands and all retail segments. Recognized for his contributions and competency by leading organizations in his field, Cleveland will improve and implement strategic sales plans supporting Tarantin Tank & Equipment Company's organizational goals.

Cleveland has held sales management positions for more than 25 years, most recently as executive vice president of sales for Weber-Stephen Products Company, better known as Weber Grills. He led the sales efforts (internal-external) of this multimillion-dollar organization in the United States and Canada, as well as the indirect sales and marketing responsibilities for the company's subsidiary in Mexico.

"Kirk has been a leader in best-in-class sales management techniques in the consumer products industry," Tarantin said. "He has accomplished great things in his career, including identifying new markets and business opportunities, and delivering a consistent record of revenue growth across North American markets. Sales are his specialty and passion and we are excited about the depth of experience, commitment and skills he brings to Tarantin. We are looking forward to the growth opportunities he brings to our company, sales team and dealers."
