Surya announces High Point event lineup

Presentation by Candice Olson and virtual experience with Elle Décor among events

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. —Always looking for innovative ways to support designers and buyers, Surya will host several exciting events in its showroom (Showplace 4100) at the spring High Point Market.

“We are taking this year’s market to the next level with regard to inspiration,” said Surya president Satya Tiwari. “Our team has worked diligently to create a truly immersive experience for attendees to explore our products and experience the latest design and lifestyle trends, physically and virtually.”

The events hosted by Surya are as follows:

Candice Olson Styles for Surya
Sat., April 22, 2-3 p.m.
Acclaimed interior designer Candice Olson has imparted her unique aesthetic on hundreds of residential and commercial projects. In a lively presentation and Q&A session, Olson will share how she uses Surya accessories to embody her signature style. Attendees will also be the first to preview a new Surya lighting collection designed by Olson.

Spring Celebration
Sun., April 23, 6-11 p.m.
Attendees will be able to mix and mingle as they enjoy signature cocktails from the open bar and hors d’oeuvres, followed by an evening of dancing and lively music.

Design Viewpoint Series: The Business of Creativity
Mon., April 24, 3-4 p.m.
Presented by the High Point Market Authority and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), design business leader, educator and author of “The Business of Creativity: How to Build the Right Team for Success,” Keith Granet will provide insight into everything a creative leader needs to develop ideas, find the resources to bring them to life and market the work by building the right team. The Elle Décor Experience
Throughout Market during showroom hours
Surya showroom visitors will be dazzled by the Elle Décor immersive virtual reality experience that lets them see, touch and feel the luxurious Parisian lifestyle, featuring Surya rugs and pillows designed for Elle Décor.

Spring Raffle
Market attendees can complete a brief online entry form by Tuesday, April 18 for a chance to win a prize. The prize drawing will take place at the Surya showroom at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, during the Spring Celebration. Entrants must be present to win.
