Spoga+Gafa halls fully booked

Top companies register, showing almost 50% growth compared to 2009

"Time to grow" is the motto at Spoga+Gafa, set for Sept. 4-6 in Cologne. Following Koelnmesse's announcement last year that it would include the garden trade fair as an annual event, it will be presenting an array of exhibitors next month.

Numerous leading brand suppliers also from the classic Gafa segments have decided to present their new products and innovations at the leading international business platform in a few weeks' time. The most recent additions are U.S. hand tool manufacturer Stanley, French luxury furniture manufacturer Ego Paris, Italian plant producer Vannucci as well as Briggs & Stratton with lawnmowers and engines. Not only is the quality of vendors at the top, the halls are fully booked and the result is almost 50% above the comparable event in 2009.

In gross exhibition space almost equivalent to 20 football pitches, around 1,700 suppliers from 53 nations are showing their product innovations covering all aspects of garden and leisure. From A for Argentina to V for Vietnam, suppliers from five continents are coming together in Cologne.

"The result has even exceeded our optimistic expectations," said Metin Ergül, vice president, Koelnmesse. "In short that means: the whole world of gardening is once again represented at Spoga+Gafa."

Correspondingly, many large and important buyers from all over the world have announced they will be visiting the garden trade fair. Among those are decision-makers from the national and international large-volume trade. The European DIY Retail Association EDRA alone has announced the participation of numerous member companies from Estonia and Denmark through to Spain up to Australia.

Admission tickets entitle the holder to visit Spoga+Gafa along with the parallel event spoga horse. The tickets also are valid as free travel tickets for all local public transport operated by the VRS (Rhine-Sieg Transport Authority). Admission tickets can be purchased directly from the online shop at spogagafa.com at reduced advanced prices.
