Casual Classics adds eight owners, 17 stores to group

Casual Classics Furniture Group has announced the addition of eight owners and 17 stores to its owner base.

New owners joining the group are as follows:

+ Friedman's in Santa Rosa, Calif., operating three stores headed by Bill Friedman
+ Housewarmings/Everburn in Lexington, Ky., operating one store headed by Ajay Gupta
+ Leisure Depot in Charleston, S.C., operating one store headed by Frank Jannuzzi
+ Lifestyles Patio and Spas in St. George, Utah, operating one store headed by Doug Froelich
+ Pleasure Pools and Spas in Davenport, Iowa, operating one store headed by the Wahl family
+ Pool Mart in Depew, N.Y., operating five stores headed by Ryan Dunn
+ Wilson's Furniture in Ferndale, Wash., operating one store headed by John Wilson
+ East Coast Leisure in Virginia Beach, Va., operating four stores headed by Todd Glaser

Casual Classics' owners operate in territorially protected areas in North America and Puerto Rico. The company offers its own designed patio furniture, which includes cast aluminum, extruded aluminum, resin wicker, wrought iron and hardwoods. Casual Classics also deals in patio heaters, outdoor kitchen cabinets, outdoor rugs and seasonal Christmas trim.

"We now operate in 40 states of the union with 42 owners who operate 242 retail locations," Managing Director Buzz Homsy said. "Our growth has been phenomenal since 2001, showing a need for uniquely designed products, a national brand identification tag and owners' pride in participation. It's a great thing when our sales people pitch their own owned brand."
