Leisure Design taps industry veterans Engelmann, Sturdivant as sales reps

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 9/6/2011 8:03:35 AM

Leisure Design, supplier of outdoor woven furniture, has announced the addition of industry veterans Bill Engelmann and Becky Sturdivant to its sales force.

"We are committed to researching and acquiring some of the best talent that this industry has to offer," said Mike Friedrichsen, director of U.S. sales and marketing.

"Bill Engelmann's family founded Homecrest nearly 60 years ago. He grew up working summers in the factory and has been representing fine upscale brands to dealers since the early '80s. He brings considerable expertise to the team and will be covering Montana and Wyoming for Leisure Design. We are very happy to have him," said Friedrichsen.

"Becky Sturdivant," Friedrichsen adds, "for more than a decade led the national sales effort for CFI/Carter Grandle and was instrumental in bringing them to new plateaus of success and notoriety throughout the '90s. She then did the same thing for Suncoast up until 2004, at which point she decided to concentrate her efforts on a smaller area and begin representation in the state of Florida."
