Now in its 25th year, the show has continued to gain momentum as the platform for designers and brands serving the hospitality industry.

“With over 850 exhibitors covering 275,000 square feet of show floor space, HD Expo 2017 surpassed the expectations of our exhibitors and attendees,” said Liz Sommerville, group show director for Hospitality Design.

The iconic duo of mega-developer Steve Wynn and legendary designer Roger Thomas gave the keynote address in front of an overflow capacity crowd.

In addition to the conference sessions, other show highlights included the IIDA/HD Awards, NEWH Awards, the ICRAVE virtual reality booth and designer competition, and two evening networking events.

“The excitement for this show was amazing,” said Shoemaker Rauen, editor-in-chief, Hospitality Design magazine. “Attendees are pleased with the quality programming they’re receiving, while exhibitors are relishing in the high-level of interest in their hospitality products.”

HD Expo annually attracts the worlds’ most talented and sought-after network of interior designers, architects, hoteliers, owners, operators, developers and purchasers: leaders, creative risk-takers and innovators who impact the industry. Thousands of show attendees experience the most innovative products and resources to consider for their global hospitality projects. They can also stay on top of industry news and trends through daily conference programming, and they have access to networking with some of the most prominent players in the industry.

The Hospitality Design Group, part of Emerald Expositions, produces the event each May in Las Vegas. HD Expo is in association with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), International Interior Design Association (IIDA), International Society of Hospitality Purchasers (ISHP) and NEWH, Inc.—The Hospitality Industry Network.
