Jardinico Caractère to debut at contract markets

attendeesBaldwin Park, Calif. — Jardinico Caractère, a line of Belgium-engineered contract umbrellas, debuts in Shademaker showrooms during the spring contract and hospitality trade markets, including BD West and the HD Expo.

Crafted with a signature style and heavy duty construction for contract applications, the Jardinico Caractère line of shade products will be on display at the Hospitality Design Expo at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, May 3-5. Each Jardinico Caractère umbrella will debut with advanced functionality and multiple size options.

“We are excited to introduce the Jardinico Caractère for contract and hospitality venue buyers attending the upcoming markets,” said Jennifer Dorr, national contract sales manager, Jardinico Caractère. “The quality of engineering and versatility of functionality along with multiple sizes and styles are guaranteed to attract attention from market attendees and the industry as a whole looking for a superior shade product.”

Included in the inaugural collection are two design styles in five sizes, along with multiple finishes and canopy color options. The collection consists of three center-post and four side-post designs with canopies in hexagon, octagon, square and rectangle styles. Two frame colors and four fabric color options are included in the line. Special order sizes, frame finishes and fabrics also are available.

All Jardinico Caractère side-post umbrellas can rotate 360 degrees and tilt in height. Ease of use and functionality were a priority in the development of the opening systems. Each canopy is handmade with Dickson Sunbrella performance fabric for exceptional weather resistance and colorfastness. The line’s color and finish options allow for coordination with other outdoor furnishings or any facility branding.

The designers of this international shade product were Jardinico’s CEO, Bruno Vandeputte and technical designer, Eveline Moreel van Lutho.
