Amber Engine appoints VP of account management

Detroit — Home Furnishings Services and solutions technology company Amber Engine named Daniel Bahr as its vice president of account management and client success. Bahr will work closely with Amber Engine’s leadership team of industry experts to oversee revenue acceleration and retention, to support the company’s expanding base of home furnishings customers.

Bahr comes to Amber Engine with more than a decade of customer success expertise at cloud-based software companies. Bahr directed customer support, upsell and retention strategies as both vice president of customer success at HR software company Hireology and as director of sales development and customer success at global communications software company Cloudwords. He also led inside sales and customer retention at Microsystems, a software company focused on document management.

“We’re delighted to have Dan on the Amber Engine team, as his track record reflects a keen eye towards client value and customer success,” said Amber Engine CRO Jesse Akre. “Dan will ensure we continue to drive engagement to our platform while scaling account management and client success operations to meet the needs of our growing client base.”

With Amber Engine’s cloud-based platform, manufacturers can share and control product data distribution while retailers gain the ability to provide the fresh, accurate product content consumers seek.
