Magnet Works makes organizational changes at the top

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 9/16/2011 8:43:00 AM

Magnet Works, a supplier of indoor and outdoor home décor accessories, has hired Anne Brown as director of product development and named Tammy Hickel as executive VP and general manager.

"We've decided it's time to take Magnet Works to the next level. Ann and Tammy have the industry experience, creativity and focus to get us there," said Curt Todd, CEO and co-founder of Magnet Works.

Since 2005, Tammy Hickel has been the VP of sales and marketing for Magnet Works. In her expanded role as EVP, she will run the day-to-day operations of the company. This will free up Curt Todd to focus on new strategic directions with Anne Brown, the newly hired director of product development.

Before joining Magnet Works, Brown served as senior product developer for Demdaco, a gift manufacturing company. She played a key role in developing Embellish Your Story and the Kelly Rae Roberts Collection, two of Demdaco's popular lines. She brings 14 years of product development and industry experience to Magnet Works as it prepares for continued growth.

"When you bring the right people together, great things happen. As our team builds, so does our excitement about the future of Magnet Works. I think our customers will share our excitement when they see what's in store," said Todd.
