Las Vegas Market sponsors IFDA Educational Foundation’s DesignEdge Summit

NEW YORK – The International Furnishings and Design Assn. Educational Foundation (IFDA-EF) will present its first DesignEdge on Saturday, May 20, at the Millennium Broadway Hotel.
The day-long summit will feature industry leaders ranging from Millennials to baby boomers. They will include social and traditional media experts, product and interior designers, manufacturers, architects and artisans. The summit will discuss the future of design, while offering inspiration and insight into succeeding during transformative times.

The event will cover crucial topics about the design industry and how to be fearless and successful in a fast-paced, ever-changing world. Learn how to build and broaden your brand, create new ways to establish leadership and trust, harness the latest tools of social media and technology, create global business, and much more.
Recognizing the power of the Summit’s focus, as well as the importance of the IFDA-EF, Las Vegas Market signed on as panel sponsor.

The afternoon panel will offer a conversation between industry visionaries titled, “Leading by Innovating.” Moderator Karen Marx, the home furnishings director for the Hearst Design Group, will lead an in-depth dialogue with Caleb Anderson, partner and principal at Drake/Anderson; Jamie Derringer, founder and executive editor of Design Milk; Kevin Greenberg, founding principal of Space Exploration Design; Susan Jamieson, founder and principal of Bridget Beari Designs; and Chad Stark, SVP of Stark and president of Scalamandre.
The summit will culminate in an open Q&A forum where attendees will have the opportunity to communicate directly with the panelists about their individual concerns and company needs.
