Skyline Design seeing changing consumer demand

Skyline Design has been experiencing a change in demand from its dealers as well as designers, according to a company press release. Patio retailers as well as hospitality design firms have been ordering Skyline's outdoor lines to be used and installed indoors.
According to the press release, the company believes that consumers like the selling features that the outdoor Sunbrella fabric offers with the furniture because they feel the fabric is easier to maintain and clean than standard indoor fabrics.
"Our contract division has been furnishing complete projects where Skyline Design furniture is specified for their lobbies, indoor bars and lounge areas," said Judy Calzadilla, VP of Skyline Design. "All of these areas are undercover and will provide extremely long life in the commercial setting."
All Skyline collections are designed applying materials such as ViroTM, Rehau and Ecolene to produce lightweight, weather-resistant and functional styles.
Skyline Design will be showing at the High Point Market, Oct. 22-27, in Interhall at space 601.
