Casual Cushion launches new website, adds West Coast sales reps

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 10/4/2011 9:02:00 AM

Casual Cushion has launched a new website to help its network of specialty dealer and manufacturer customers.

The company focuses on producing cushions and umbrellas for manufacturers, large retailers, catalog companies and specialty stores. Its new website includes high-resolution images of all its collections, fabrics and a downloadable catalog. A dealer log-in section provides many tools including order forms, pricing and lists of cushions for dealers to easily cross-reference to find the cushions that they need.

"We have also hired Mike Donahue, a full-time IT professional and Web liaison for our retail customers," said Jason Siesel, VP Casual Cushion Corp. "He will be assisting our customers on getting the images they may want to better help market our products on our customers websites as well as images for print media. With greater focus from our retailers on cushions and how to market them effectively to their customers I am sure Mike will be kept busy. His experience in website design will be an asset to Casual Cushion and invaluable to our customers."

As part of its ongoing expansion, Casual Cushion also has hired new sales representatives to cover the West Coast.

To represent California and Nevada, the company hired Ed McGeeney, who brings years of experience selling cushions and currently represents Tropitone, Meadowcraft and Seaside Casual.

In Oregon, Washington, Idaho, British Columbia and Alberta, Casual Cushion hired the sales team of Dennis Thurmer and Ed Joseph. They currently represent OW Lee, Hanamint and Treasure Garden.

"Now with a combination of these three sales teams bringing years of experience selling cushions, along with our competitive freight rates, we believe the sky is the limit in these untapped territories for us," Siesel said. "The quality customers that they brought to see us at the show in Chicago and the great reaction we received from them only confirmed that we made the right decisions. Ed, Dennis and Ed are quality people with loyal customers and we look forward to earning all of the business that they can bring us. Casual Cushion is looking forward to years of quality representation as we embark to show West Coast retailers what our current customers already know: That Casual Cushion delivers a quality product at a fair price in a timely fashion."
