Nicole Crews -- Casual Living, 10/13/2011 9:23:32 AM

On Sunday, Oct. 23 from 5-9 p.m., at the 2011 High Point Market, a grouping of well-known names in the casual industry are coming together to host an "Ideal Outdoor" event at Padma's Plantation.

High Point outdoor partyThe event is to take place in the 7,500-sq.-ft. outdoor showroom space located at 317 S. Hamilton St. and the location is set up to serve as a destination for designers, retailers, media, and specifiers for everything related to the casual market.

Padma's Plantation, TUCCI, Henry Hall Designs and The Outdoor GreatRoom Company have partnered to host the event and Casual Living magazine is sponsoring the gathering.

For the past three years the indoor/outdoor, 14,000-sq.-ft. showroom space has been occupied by Padma's Plantation. The expansion of the outdoor living space to 7,500 square feet presented itself an ideal opportunity to create a partnership with some of the biggest names in the industry for an event promoting the outdoor leisure market.

"Our parties at High Point have become highly renowned. We expect that new partnerships between industry leaders will spread the word that the outdoor showroom at Padma's Plantation is meant to serve as a destination for all member of the casual/leisure market," Kevin Sypolt, VP, Padma's Plantation.

Festivities will include live Reggae music by Jah Creation, a pig roast, margaritas, and a chance to view some of the newest outdoor products on the market today. Guests should be prepared to show their badge at the door. RSVPs can be made by emailing the address below.

To RSVP, email custservice@padmasplantation.com by Oct. 19.
