Surya to show "Southern Hospitality" at High Point with market party

As the grand finale to its 35th anniversary year-long celebration, area rug and home accessories manufacturer Surya will host a party at its High Point showroom, Showplace 3233, during market.

Dubbed its "Southern Hospitality Gala," Surya's open bar party will take place at 5 p.m. Oct. 23 at its showroom, located at Showplace 3233. A DJ will provide the music and a buffet will be catered by Southern Roots Restaurant.

Surya said it "thrives on the motto ‘work hard, play hard,'" and hopes this party will "set the tone for a very productive but fun market."

Also during High Point Market, Surya will be launching several fall collections, including several new designs by HGTV interior decorator star Candice Olson.

"We want to give everyone a break from their hectic appointment schedules and stifling showrooms, just a chance to kick back and enjoy themselves; and if they get the opportunity to view our new collections and best sellers that's icing on the cake," said Satya Tiwari, president.
