Major real estate auction set for 'Furniture Capital'

An auction for six prime furniture-related retail, commercial and residential properties in the "Furniture Capital of the World" will be held Sunday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. at 1628 South Main St., High Point, N.C.

The six retail, commercial and residential properties have an approximate value of $10 million. The two residential properties are located in in Market Square Tower.

+ Property 1 - 4250 Furniture Ave., 70,000-sq.-ft. retail showroom property, 5.83 acres across Business I-85 from Furnitureland South. Tax value: $4,759,200.

+ Property 2 - 1628 S. Main St., 80,000-square feet of prime retail space, showroom property, 5.81 Acres. Tax value: $2,730,000.

+ Property 3 - 2005 Fulton Place, 25,000-sq.-ft. warehouse and office space, 2.09 acres. Tax value: $598,000.

+ Property 4 - 411 Manning St., 15,000-sq.-ft. warehouse or showroom space, 2.43 acres. Tax value: 830,400.

+ Property 5 - 317 W. High Ave., Unit 14F - 1,192-sq.-ft. three-bedroom unit in Market Square Tower. Tax value: $194,100.

+ Property 6 - 317 W. High Ave., Unit 14A - 936-sq.-ft. two bedroom unit in Market Square Tower. Tax value: $157,200.
