Casual Living to present two seminars at Las Vegas Market
July 6, 2017,
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Casual Living is the leading resource of information and research in the outdoor furnishings marketplace. At Las Vegas Market, Features Editor Jennifer Bringle and Editor-in-Chief Waynette Goodson will draw from that wealth of knowledge, presenting on two major topics.
On Sunday, July 30, at 11 a.m., Jennifer will discuss casual industry trends in the South Sea Outdoor Living showroom. By analyzing Casual Living’s industry-leading research, Jennifer will recap the best of the year so far and offer predictions on growth areas for the casual industry. Attendees will leave with new insight into the state of the casual category, its growth trajectory and how outdoor can help grow their business.
The following day, Monday, July 31, at 3:30 p.m., Waynette will offer a master class for designers on outdoor materials in the Ebel showroom. Designers who attend will understand the value of outdoor-safe materials and how to convey that value to their clients. The master class presentation will explore four key categories: plastics (marine grade polymer and recycled plastic lumber), wicker (synthetic versus natural), alternative woods (beyond teak) and aluminum (cast, extruded and tubular).
The seminar is free, and designers will receive 1 CEU for attending. Cocktails will be served afterward in the Ebel showroom (C1389) to celebrate the new July issue of Exterior Design.
