The High Point Market revved up on Oct. 21 with International Market Center's Kick Off Party taking Center Stage on Friday night. Co-sponsored by our sister publications, Furniture/Today and Home Accents Today, the event set the bar for a bevy of social gatherings throughout market week, Oct. 22-27. An "Ideal Outdoor" extravaganza at Padma's Plantation, sponsored by Casual Living, capped off a lively weekend that included such highlights as concerts by the B52s and Starship.

Hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and live music entertained a throng of marketgoers at the High Point Market Kick- Off Party, sponsored by Casual Living sister publications Furniture/Today and Home Accents Today.
	Blues World Order lured the afternoon cocktail and appetizer set to the patio at the 220 Elm building on opening day.
On Sunday afternoon, New York publisher Rizzoli sponsored the Trendsetter Book Event at Market Square Courtyard featuring Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorators star Mary McDonald and Martyn Lawrence Bullard (shown here) amongst others.
