Dan Ide joins importers South Sea Rattan, Fairfax Home

Jointly owned vendors South Sea Rattan and Fairfax Home have hired Dan Ide for the newly created post of VP of marketing and product development.

Ide, a 25-year industry veteran, most recently held sales and management posts with case goods resources Orleans Furniture and Progressive Furniture. He will be based at the company's Greensboro, N.C., headquarters.

"Dan brings a wealth of furniture knowledge to our company, and we look forward to him helping with our strategy to move the company forward," said Jacob Kuo, CEO.

Fairfax Home is an importer of bedroom and dining room furniture, while South Sea imports wicker and rattan living room, dining room, bedroom and outdoor furniture.
