Zuo launches new collection and accessories
September 12, 2017,
CHICAGO – Zuo’s new line of upholstery for indoor and outdoor use, as well as its line of home accents for outdoor, are debuting at Casual Market Chicago this week.
Zuo shared that their clients no longer see outdoor furniture as a luxury. That from all walks of life, consumers with small patios or decks to larger outdoor spaces, everyone wants an outdoor living space. Their customers from local retailers, designers, and hospitality want to personalize their outdoor designs and set themselves apart from their competition.
Zuo CEO Luis Ruesga commented on the new collections, “As an outdoor manufacturer, we aim to always stay ahead of the trends, while keeping up with buyer demands. Seeing this recent shift in the market we created new introductions debuting at the ICFA Casual Market. One which is more modern, called the Fiji Collection; The other is more transitional called the Ojai Collection.
“The Ojai got the most interest from buyers as they were almost shocked that it’s for outdoor use. We included industry leader Sunproof, who creates high end outdoor fabric with solution dyed acrylic, water wicking and UV resistance technology. We even tested it during the Las Vegas Market by pouring hot coffee just to shock guests, and the fabric wasn't affected at all. Truly this new collection and the introduction of our Zuo Décor outdoor accents set us apart from other exhibitors and offer a new fresh look, giving buyers something we have not offered before. I can’t wait to see the response this week during the Casual Market. “
