Weems & Plath has promoted Patricia Darnell to Eastern territory manager after only one year as the Northeastern territory manager.
Darnell will be responsible for the company's largest sales territory, which includes the Eastern United States, Eastern Canada and the Caribbean.
"It is with pleasure that we promote Patricia," said Peter Trogdon, president, Weems & Plath. "She has proven that she has both the skill and desire to handle this broad territory. I have full confidence she will continue to be a success in this expanded role."
Darnell has been with Weems & Plath for more than 20 years, beginning her career in the accounting department. Her experience has equipped her with comprehensive knowledge of both product lines (Weems & Plath and Conant Custom Brass), and she has demonstrated a true interest in what she sells, according to a press release from the company.
As a manufacturer of fine nautical instruments since 1928, Weems & Plath expanded in 2008 with its acquisition of Conant Custom Brass, an outdoor weather instrument company that manufactures classic pieces for the home and garden.
