Sphinx to give away Kindle Fire tablets at Atlanta market

Sphinx by Oriental Weavers will host a "Kindle Your Fire" party at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market on Jan. 12, from 4-7 p.m. in its showroom located in Building 1, space 3-A-2. The company will give away a new Kindle Fire tablet every 30 minutes during the party, with hor d'oeuvres and drinks served throughout.

"2011 has been a great year for our company and the industry," said Michael Riley, president of Oriental Weavers USA. "We are excited about the positive momentum we see in the area rug business, and we wanted to start 2012 off with an event to share our enthusiasm with our customers and industry partners. The event will also give our team and customers an opportunity to come together and see our new introductions for 2012."

Sphinx will introduce eight new collections of Axminster, machine-woven, handcrafted and indoor/outdoor products to kick off 2012. The company will also showcase several new "Made in the USA" area rug collections and additions to its patterned broadloom and custom rug programs.
