Luxe Sunbrella space featured at High Point
October 12, 2017,
“Sunbrella fabrics have come a long way since we first created the performance category in 1961,” says Greg Rosendale, market manager, residential furniture fabrics for Glen Raven. “Sunbrella’s unmatched durability, stain resistance, and cleanability continue to improve and now combine with world class design and beautifully soft touch. Our space in High Point will showcase our signature soft and high-performance upholstery fabrics for interiors, as well as the new Makers and Elements collections.”
“Sophisticated glamour is how we’d describe the design of the show space,” says Stephanie James, partner at Allen & James. “From high-sheen lacquer paint in a bold, jewel-tone blue to pops of metallic gold featured on accent pieces, every detail was intentionally chosen.”
In addition to the hardgoods accents, the team selected 16 Sunbrella fabrics for upholstered pieces that represent the vast design breadth of the brand.
“With advancements in technology, getting Sunbrella levels of performance doesn’t mean sacrificing design,” Rosendale says. “We feature heavy texture jacquards and vibrant, plush solids, all with the inherent qualities of Sunbrella – robust durability qualities that the industry has come to trust. These long-lasting and easy-to-maintain textiles have a luxurious hand that is as soft and comforting as it is beautiful.”
