Koelnmesse trade show manager leaving post

Metin Ergül, head of division in Koelnmesse's trade fair management unit, will be leaving the company on March 31 to pursue a new position as managing director of a company in the health sector.

Ergül has been with Koelnmesse since July 2006 and was responsible for managing and successfully developing the events in the home, garden and recreation sectors in particular. This included the International Hardware Fair, spoga+gafa, spoga horse, Köln Marathon EXPO, Asia-Pacific Sourcing as well as events abroad such as the China International Hardware Show.

Until a successor is appointed, Koelnmesse's managing director Katharina C. Hamma will be responsible for the division.
