Kenny Rogers and outdoor furniture debut at Ital Art

HIGH POINT, NC — Singer, actor and home furnishings connoisseur Kenny Rogers will visit the Ital Art Design showroom here during next month's High Point Market.
He'll be in the space at 115 S. Hamilton St. from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 23, to meet marketgoers and pose for photos, said Ital Art Design CEO Mike Bakian, whose company is introducing outdoor furniture for the first time this market.
Rogers also will be at a private party for invited guests in the space Monday evening.
In addition to appearing on the pop and country music charts for decades, Rogers is a talented interior designer who has been a customer of Ital Art, Bakian said. He added that the furniture and accessories source is working on creating a product line with Rogers.
While there will be music at the private party, Rogers won't be singing, Bakian said. According to the kennyrogers.com website, the crooner has a concert the previous Saturday night in Fredericksburg, Va., and apparently knows when to fold 'em.
