Student designers compete in High Point

HIGH POINT, NC — Students from Appalachian State University are immersed in a competitive design studio creating outdoor furniture made of new to the market Perennial Wood. During High Point Market, April 21-26, the students will display their finished projects at the Suites at Market Square, 1-828, where show attendees can vote for their favorite designs. In addition to voting at the show, show attendees and the public can vote for their favorite student design online at PerennialWood.com/ASUDesignStudio (page will go live the first day of the show) to determine a People's Choice winner. One student's design will be selected the overall winner by a panel of judges to win a professionally produced video of his or her project for the prestigious Eastman Innovation Lab and his or her portfolio.
