ATLANTA — Atlanta-based outdoor furniture and umbrella company Southern Casual Living announced today a company name change to ATLeisure in order to differentiate itself in the lawn and garden marketplace.
Southern Casual Living, formally Southern Patio, has taken a new direction and will be marketing itself under its new logo and name starting in the 2013 season.
"This decision was important for the future of our organization," said Bill Browne, company president. "We are excited about the position this name change puts us in to develop our own identity moving forward. This will not affect any of our 2012 business with our current customers; we will continue to use the brand Southern Casual Living to close out 2012. In 2013 we will introduce our new packaging and marketing programs under the ATLeisure brand. We have received very positive feedback from the industry and truly appreciate the support from the retail community with this name change and transition."
ATLeisure will be displaying at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas in booth 11521. "We look forward to meeting all customers attending this show to review our new product offering and marketing plan moving forward," Browne said.
I purhased 2 of your tilt umbrellas from krogers in may on sale 10.00 off.Now I KNOW why!TheY ARE junk.2 weeks after purchase the tilt springs and button broke.I took it back to krogers and they said this was a one time offer on sale and are out stock, but located one for replacment from the Commerce MI. store.Thank you Krogers.Well the other 2 umbrellas both fell apart with in weeks with the same faulty tilt system. In mild weather conditions.Krogers informed me to contact the manufacture since this was a one time offer. So thank you very much for ripping me off $80.00 + tax for something that looks nice for less than 2 weeks.
Steve Tierney - 2012-12-08 19:14:21 ESTI purchased your Catalina Wooden Market 9 foot umbrella via QVC. The wooden pole cracked almost immediately, the crank worked for about a month, and now the umbrella is stuck in a half open position. This umbrella didn't even last through one summer season. I cannot return it to QVC because the 30 day return policy is now expired. I just emailed your national sales executive and am asking for the name of the appropriate person who fields these sorts of complaints. Take a look at the customer reviews on this product at the QVC website. Almost no one is happy with this umbrella. I want a refund. This was not a cheap umbrella, and quite frankly, I've purchased umbrellas for $16 that are made better than this one. You have a large number of unhappy customers. Who is going to deal with this?
Pam Woodfin - 2012-09-12 14:45:14 EDTI purchased this umbrella. Atotal mistake. I'd like to file a complaint and attempt to get a refund. The based leaked from day one the cover for the bas was cracked upon delivery. I emailed photos of the damage as directed and was told I'd get replacements. The little plastic cover was delivered. I spent over $300,00 dollars on this thing. The hottest summe ron thios country and can't use a three-hundred umbrella to enjoy my deck. I want my money back since this product was unusuable.
Mildred Jackson - 2012-08-24 15:51:47 EDTWe have had our umbrella for eight weeks and the string broke from the frame. Customer service is awful!!
We paid over $300.00 for this umbrella, the bladder broke after two days and now this. All ATLeisure says they will do - after the rep lied to me and said it is out of warranty, says they can replace the frame. But not until the end of September. This is beyond upsetting. For the cost we should be able to expect better quality and even better customer service.
