Z-Line Designs expands casual furniture lines

Justin Smith joins to oversee launch of leather division

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 4/10/2012 9:21:45 AM

Z-Line Designs is launching full steam ahead into the casual market - with an expanded casual furniture line designed to fill the need for high-quality styling targeting mid-range pricing. The company will present the complete line at this month's High Point Market, as well as in Chicago at the ICFA Preview Show in July and the Casual Market in September.
"Full-line furniture and specialty retailers have responded very well to the quality, styling and price points of our new casual furniture," said Mark Gorr, senior vice president of Z-Line's casual furniture division. "That response translated to sales that were nearly triple our expectations for this year. So with the line extensions and enhancements we've put in place for 2013, we're very excited about showing a complete line for the first time at the upcoming markets."
Z-Line Designs will be showcasing more than a dozen casual furniture collections offering a variety of styles in top-quality, hand-woven all-weather wicker, with rust-resistant, extruded aluminum frames that are powder-coated to coordinate with the colors of the weave.
The deep seating groups are being expanded to offer motion, and dining is also being added to three of the existing collections. Z-Line is also expanding its fabric offerings for 2013.
Debuting in High Point will be two new collections, Savannah and Wellesley. Both collections will encompass deep seating and dining in traditional styling.
Z-Line Designs also will debut its leather furniture line at the High Point Market, April 21-26. Justin Smith has joined Z-Line as VP of sales for its newly established leather division. Smith brings a 15-year track record in the leather industry. Smith most recently was VP of Le Noir Leather/Davis Direct Furniture and previously held positions with Natuzzi and Leather Trend.
Z-Line Designs' entire casual furniture line is being shown in the company's permanent showroom, 220 Elm, Space 206, during the High Point Market. The furniture will also be exhibited at the ICFA Preview Show, July 17-19, at the Chicago Merchandise Mart, and at the International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market, Sept. 20-23.
