Outdoor Furniture SalesOutdoor Furniture Sales for 2012Outdoor furniture sales are expected to boost 21.4% by 2016, according to the most recent data from Easy Analytic Software Inc.

In 2011 outdoor furniture sales, including sales of dining sets, conversation groups, other seating, shade and other outdoor furniture, were an estimated $3.8 billion and are projected to reach $4.6 billion by 2016.

Casual Living market research worked with Easy Analytic Software Inc. to develop 2011 outdoor furniture estimates and 2016 projections.

Sales figures are based on data available through September 2011 and are subject to revision. Estimates are based on information from the Department of Commerce, the International Trade Commission, sales estimates from manufacturers and retailers, Furniture/Today and Casual Living's HGTV 2011 Consumer Surveys, as well as discussions with industry executives and analysts.
