Pelican Reef debuts two Panama Jack outdoor groups

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Pelican Reef Wicker will debut two Panama Jack outdoor furnishings collections at the High Point Market and the July Chicago Preview Show. Panama Jack will also display the outdoor furniture lineup in its showroom at Market on Green, Space 207.
Panama Jack groups, made by Pelican Reef, furnish the coastal lifestyle"The last five months have been sensational with the introduction of Panama Jack's Island Breeze Collection," said Allen Calzadilla, president of Pelican Reef. "We are so excited to be able to give our existing and new dealers a chance to touch and feel the new Leeward Islands Collection, and get a sneak peak at the upcoming St. Bart's Collection during the April 21-26 High Point market at our showroom at Showplace 1150."
"The Leeward Islands Collection has incorporated high quality teak with woven Viro fiber to refresh the look of traditional teak patio furniture into an entirely new style and direction" said Mayleen Chadwick, VP of sales, who helped design the Panama Jack Leeward Islands outdoor collection.
The St. Bart's Collection is made of extruded, then powder coated aluminum woven with a brown pine fiber. The St. Bart and the Island Breeze collections can be mixed for container buyers. With the warehoused inventory of Panama Jack Outdoor, anyone can get products placed on their retail sales floor immediately.
In addition to the Panama Jack merchandise, Pelican Reef Wicker offers an entire indoor and outdoor furniture lineup as a quick-ship program from its Florida distribution center, along with direct container inventory ready for immediate shipment from the factories.
Pelican Reef Wicker, which has manufactured and distributed casual furniture since 1983, partnered with Panama Jack as its outdoor furniture supplier.
Panama Jack, founded in 1974, has developed a line of beach lifestyle products over the years ranging from swimwear, sandals and shoes, to hats, jewelry, beach chairs and umbrellas. In 2010 the company added luggage and beach cruiser bicycles to their lineup. In 2011, Panama Jack branched out into indoor and outdoor furniture.
