TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Phifer has attained Greenguard Select certification from the Greenguard Environmental Institute for its Designed Fabrics collection for outdoor furniture.
Pfifer Greenguard SelectDesigned Fabrics - plush 100% recyclable GeoBella Cushion Fabrics and Phifertex outdoor Fabrics - are available in an array of colors and intricately woven designs in dobbie, wicker weaves, stripes and jacquards. These fabrics have the strength and stability needed for outdoor performance yet are soft and touchable enough for deep seating cushions.
Phifer's fabrics do not absorb water and dry quickly, which makes them resistant to mold and mildew growth. Woven to endure extreme weather conditions, these no-fuss fabrics are exceptionally durable and fade-resistant. They are also naturally stain resistant and easy to clean, even with bleach.
Phifer's Designed Fabrics collection is also certified as meeting the stringent Greenguard Children and Schools standards for commercial use.
All products certified by Greenguard Environmental Institute must pass a series of rigorous emissions tests and undergo quarterly tests, as well as annual re-certification, to ensure their low emission status is maintained.
