WithIt to host Celebrity Gala in Las Vegas July 28

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- WithIt, the leadership organization for women in the home furnishings industry, will hold its 15th anniversary Celebrity Gala in late July in Las Vegas.

The gala begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Parisian Palace mansion. Planned festivities include regional food and wine pairings by Chef Quattrocchi, a silent auction, interviews with Lori Dennis of HGTV and entertainment by opera singer Marco Antonio Verela and the Women in Music and Arts Foundation.

During the evening, WithIt, along with the Design Leadership Network, will present the Las Vegas Woman's Leadership Achievement Awards, which honor Las Vegas industry executives who have made significant contributions to the furniture and design industry. This year's recipients are Dana Andrew, vice president of marketing for International Market Centers; Beth Schwartz, editor of Luxury Las Vegas magazine; and Andrea Thomas, owner of Thomas Design Source and scholarship director for NEWH The Hospitality Industry Network.

"Las Vegas is the perfect backdrop for WithIt's anniversary gala, and we purposefully timed our celebration as a kickoff event to the summer Las Vegas Market," said gala chairwoman Kassie Smith of Kassie Smith Lifestyle Group and a WithIt regional vice president. "WithIt members, directors, ambassadors, governors and sponsors deserve this unique and luxurious celebration to honor our organization's achievements, as well as exemplary professionals committed to the West Coast design scene."

Tickets are $75 for WithIt members and $100 for non-members and guests. Entry to the VIP clubroom, which will feature blackjack, champagne tastings and hors d'oeuvres, is an additional $25. Tickets can be reserved at www.withit.org.
