FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The versatility of the Monterey Collection will be on display at the upcoming casual furnishing markets as Pride Family Brands makes its entry into the vintage style category. Pride's Castelle line also will expand its fire pit designs.

Meeting a broad design preference, the vintage style category will relate to consumers of all ages, and the Monterey Collection will deliver a fresh and distinct look of comfort and quality.

"The Monterey Collection and its vintage design motif offer an excellent example of the handcrafted simplicity that many retailers and consumers are requesting for outdoor furnishings," said Steve Lowsky, president, Pride Family Brands. "With the introduction of Monterey, our design team has created handcrafted luxury with broad appeal."

In the Monterey Collection are cushioned dining and seating with action and stationary units along with deep seating groups including standard and crescent sofas and loveseats, stationary and action lounges with ottomans.

Constructed of outdoor durable cast and extruded aluminum, The Monterey Collection features a simple linear back design with nail head detailing and arm and leg castings. On cushioned units, the weather resistant over-stuffed cushioning features a cast aluminum single button tufting. Pride's signature hand-painted finishing provides a rich, yet artistic, beauty to the aluminum construction. Each piece is built to last with a powder-coated and four-step finishing process.

"Our customers look to our designers for original casual furnishing designs," said Rory Rehmert, VP of sales and marketing, Pride Family Brands. "This includes collections like Monterey that are at home in any outdoor setting."

The heat is on as Pride Family Brands' line of Castelle handcrafted fire pits expands to include all new fire tables and multiple fire pit designs. For 2013, state of the art engineered fire tables in high dining and formal dining models and luxury cast and extruded aluminum fire pits will be introduced by award-winning casual furnishing manufacturer, Pride Family Brands. The Castelle fire pits are designed specifically to complement the furnishing styles of individual collections.

"The fire pits introduced last season have been a major success with our retail partners delivering a tremendous value for quality constructed models," Lowsky said. "For 2013, we are providing our retailers even greater opportunities with the expansion of fire features capitalizing on an attention to detail and a long list of design options including eleven different table top designs."

Whether planning a private gather for two or a reunion of 10, fire pit table models are available perfectly suited to every requirement. The Castelle high dining table is 50" round with a center fire feature. A 54"x108" cast top dining table is also outfitted for fire and warm conversation. In combination with 11 of Pride Family Brands' most popular cast top designs and the signature hand applied decorative antiquing and a four-stage finishing process, unlimited possibilities are available to further coordinate outdoor dining and living spaces.

For the 2013 fire pits, new base models crafted in both round and rectangular will debut with multiple hand-woven aluminum motifs and alternative leg designs. For the Classical collections, the fire pit design boasts a woven side incorporating a curving profile and elegant cast foot details.

The Castelle Fire Pit bases, which provide for propane storage, feature a control valve located on the outside for convenient igniting and extinguishing of the fire. High quality burners, rated to produce 40,000 Btus, provide a welcome amount of warmth and ambiance for outdoor entertaining. Hand-painted antiquing and a durable four-step finishing and sealing process complete each unit.
