Adams Manufacturing develops barstool with ergonomic seating design

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 7/25/2012 1:59:06 PM

Adams Manufacturing Corp., a leading "Made in USA" supplier of high-quality residential and commercial outdoor resin furniture and accessories, announced the launch of its RealComfort Barstool.

The 30-inch RealComfort Barstool is designed to be a modern twist on a timeless classic, according to a company press release. The barstool incorporates a patent-pending seating design that is ergonomically engineered to relieve pressure on both the iliac and coccyx bones, resulting in substantially enhanced overall seating comfort.

In addition to the seating innovations, value-oriented pricing and stackability, the RealComfort Barstool is designed to complement any décor and is available in a variety of UV-stabilized colors. Adams' RealComfort Barstool boasts maintenance free all-weather performance and is rated for both residential and non-residential use.

Adams is also introducing a café-inspired Bistro table that can be paired with the bar stool to create a go-anywhere outdoor dining ensemble. Adams is expanding its bar stool line with complementary products, including a smaller 24-inch bar stool.

"There's nothing else like it on the market, never has been," said founder and CEO Bill Adams. "We've received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from our buyers on our new bottom-friendly design, and we expect extremely strong consumer demand as our innovative new bar stool is already becoming available through our retail partners. Along with our RealComfort Adirondack chair, our new bar stool is one more example of how Adams is revolutionizing the resin furniture category."

Part of Adams' ongoing "Celebrating American Ingenuity" campaign, the RealComfort Barstool is 100% design engineered and manufactured in the U.S., incorporating U.S.-sourced raw materials and Adams' Ohio-made injection molding machines.

The RealComfort Barstool made its initial appearance in May at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas. Full-scale production is expected to commence in late summer or fall 2012.
