Capel unveils new collection of outdoor rugs

TROY, N.C. — Area rug manufacturer Capel announced the debut of its new Thailand Outdoor Collection, outdoor rugs that reweave the rich, concentrated patterns of the Silk Road for today's consumer.

Debuting with three designs, Thailand carries out a modern vibe on the traditional ikat and lotus themes.

"We've reworked what are typically richly-hued fabrics in lighter, casual patterns and colors, just right for outdoor spaces," said Tami Watras, VP of product and creative director for Capel Rugs.

Wilton woven of 100% olefin in Belgium, Thailand incorporates relaxing and muted tones of washed khaki, weathered gray and weathered chambray. While made to endure exterior conditions, they are soft enough for indoor use and are available in 3'11" by 5'6" to 7'10" by 11.'

Capel will show July 30-Aug. 3 at Las Vegas Market in space A-226.
