Summer Classics restructures executive staff

Summer Classics announced today that Harold Hudson will become the senior VP of national accounts, Jeremy Rago will become the VP of sales and marketing and Keith Norton, VP of operations, will add management of the customer service department to his duties.

Bew White, president of Summer Classics, made the announcements and said, "Harold has been with Summer Classics for 19 years and is an industry veteran. He has already sold many of our key accounts for years in both the United States and abroad. We feel he is well suited for this new responsibility and this will take Summer Classics to the next level. The growth in national accounts at Summer Classics has been substantial and we feel Harold is the right person to sustain that initiative."

In his new role Hudson will devote his full time continuing to develop national accounts and master retailers for Summer Classics and Parker James. Hudson served as the VP of sales and marketing for the last 19 years and Rago, formerly national sales manager, will assume this role. Rago will become responsible for the wholesale dealer base, designers, showrooms and sales representatives. Hudson said, "Jeremy has been a great asset to Summer Classics for the last seven years with two years as a factory sales representative and the last five in management. He will do a great job in this role." Hudson further stated "I have been very fortunate to develop great relationships with our dealer base and designer customers for the last several years. I will miss the daily interaction but know they are in great hands with Jeremy,"

Customer Service will now report to Keith Norton Vice President of Operations. White stated, "Keith has been with Summer Classics for two years and has made tremendous improvements in our operations area and will now being his expertise to the customer service area."

Summer Classics bases out of Montevallo, Alabama is one of the premier manufacturers of high quality outdoor furniture.
